Voyage Sentimental, suivi des Letters D'Yorick et D'elisa. Tome Premiere and Tome Second.

This volume is bound in marbled paper boards, Papier Tourniquet pattern, with a leather spine. The title piece is in impressed gilt capitols with a gilt decorative line "Sterne Voyage Sentimental". Gilt impressed volume numbers are also surrounded by a decorative line "1-2" . The paste-downs and free end-pages are comprised from single sheets of marbled paper, Shell pattern (but different from the one used in volumes a=c). The front paste-down has 2 labels on the top left side. "From the Collection of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with "Property of the L S Trust, 1986" underneath. Both volumes have seperate title pages and contents pages at the rear. On the obverse of the title page of the tome cinquieme is a circular stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust" with inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection". This voliume has different marbled paper to the other three volumes - it was printed much later.
