The Story of My Uncle Toby, &c., Newly Arranged. By Percy Fitzgerald, M.A.

This volume is fully bound in dark red buckram/cloth boards; the edges of the text block have been gilded. The paste-down's and end-pages are comprised of single sheets of dark green paper. The front paste-down has 2 labels; On the top left side "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Written in pencil on the top of the half title page is a previous owners signature "HB Potter". Printed on the reverse of the half title page is a quotation from Coleridge's 'Table-Talk' relating to Sterne. Printed on the obverse of the title page is a circular stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" and inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection". Pasted onto the bottom left corner of the rear paste-down is a diamond shaped label with "Bound by Burn & Co." At the end of the volume are advertisments for other works.
