Four Portraits: Studies of the Eighteenth Century. Second Impression.

This volume is fully bound in grey book cloth over boards with a decorated paper cover, hardback. The front paste-down has 2 labels on the top left hand corner "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Written in pencil on the front free end-page is "2/5/8 (?)" and "5/-". Printed on the reverse of the title page are the printers details as well as circular black stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust" with "Shandy Hall Library" in the centre.
