The English Comic Characters

This volume is fully bound in boards covered in marbled-style paper with a red cloth spine, hardback with paper dust jacket. Pasted onto the top left of the front paste down is 1 small white label with "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall". Stamped onto the rear of the title page is a circular stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside. Printed underneath this are the printers/publishers details.
