This volume is fully bound in blue fake marbled paper over boards with a dark blue fabric spine. The edges of the text block have not been cut. The front paste-down has 2 labels on the top left side; "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall", underneath this is "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". On this page are pencil notes "2 Vols £10.10s" On the obverse of the title page is an ink stamp "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" in a circle with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside it.
