This volume is bound in thick brown paper covered boards with a glossy brown book cloth spine, hardback. The front paste-down has 2 labels on the top left hand corner "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall". Printed on the reverse of the half title page is the limited edition information with the number "88" in black ink and signed underneath by "R.N. Carew Hunt". Printed on the reverse of the title page is the circular black stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust" with "Shandy Hall Library" in the centre and the printers information below. A small label on yellow-cream card has been pasted to the bottom left of the rear free end-page with "Unpublished Letters from the Collection of John Wild. R.N. Carew Hunt", this is a duplication of the title piece.
