This volume is fully bound in dark plum coloured book cloth over boards, hardback. The front paste-down has 1 label pasted to the top left hand corner "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall". Within the centre of the title page is the publication device of a Bell. On the reverse of the title page is a circular stamp in ink with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" with "Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside and above this is printed first and reprint dates and beneath printer information.
