The Hymns, Anthems and Tunes with the Ode used at the Magdalen Chapel. Set for the Organ, Harpsichord, Voice, German-Flute or Guitar.

This volume is half bound in leather with marbled boards (Turkish Pattern) and vellum points. The binding and end pages are not original to the text block. The front paste-down has 2 small white labels pasted onto the top left corner "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Written in pencil is "Same imprint as another KM copy but a different engraving throughout". Stamped on the reverse of the title page is the circular stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" and inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection". Pencil markings to the first three pages. Written in pencil on the rear free end-page is "£20" and there is a small pencil sketch of a man with a large hat and feather (?) on the rear 2nd fly leaf. Dates 1764 - 1780 written in pencil.
