Laurence Sterne 'A Fellow of Infinite Jest'

This volume is fully bound in ox-blood coloured book cloth, with a decorated paper cover. The front paste-down has 3 labels; within the centre is a large previous owners bookplate with an image of a fire on top of 2 books with the motto "Ne Vele Velis" and "Ex Libris W.G.A. Huddleston". On the top left side "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Printed on the reverse of the title page are the printers details and also the circular stamp "Laurence Sterne Trust, Shandy Hall" with "Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside. Written in pencil on the top of the front free end-page is £3 (Sterne).
