This volume is fully bound in decorated glossy paper covers The front inside cover has 2 labels on the top "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" and "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Written in ink on the half-title page are the signatures of the authors "Bill Sesssions & Margaret Session. All good wishes". On the reverse of the title page is publication and printer information as well as a circular black stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" in the centre.
