This volume is fully bound in charcoal coloured book cloth with a cream decorated paper cover, which has itself been covered with plastic. The front paste-down has 2 labels on the top are "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" and "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". On the reverse of the title page is a circular black stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" in the centre.
