The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman. Volume II. The Second Edition.

This volume had a leather spine with marbled paper covered boards (French Curl on Wide Comb Pattern?). Written in pencil on the front paste-down is "P fig 4 m p100". The top of both the front free end page and the 2nd fly leaf have been torn off; there is some evidence on the 2nd fly that this was to remove previous owners signatures/information (?). On the reverse of the title page is a circular stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside.
