The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman. Volume VI.

This volume is bound with marbled paper covered boards (Wide Comb Pattern) with a leather spine. Written in ink on the top of the front free end-page is "T (J?). C. N.C. 'aS" with underneath "Chap; VI of this Vol; begins the inimitable Story of Le Fever". The top of the title page has been torn off, and it is likely that there was a previous owners signature there originally(?). On the reverse of the title page is a circular stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside.
