This volume is fully bound in marble paper covered boards, (unclear what pattern), with fawn coloured paper covers which have themselves been covered in plastic. The inside of the front cover has 1 label on the top left side "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall". Written in blue biro on the half-title page is "For Professor Arthur H, Cash with all good wishes from Abys Skoumal London, 14 September 1968" Printed on the obverse of the title page is copyright information relating to the volume as well as the circular stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" and inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection".
