Parking and access

Please park in Coxwold. Disabled parking is available at Shandy Hall. The Hall has limited wheelchair access, but most of the ground floor and all of the garden is accessible by arrangement.

Location

Coxwold, one of Britain's loveliest villages, is 4 miles off the A19 between York & Thirsk. Near to Kilburn, the White Horse, and 8 miles from Helmsley.

Nearby attractions include Byland Abbey, Newburgh Priory, Rievaulx Abbey and Duncombe Park.

Refreshments

No refreshments are available at Shandy Hall, but visitors may find them in the village.

The Fauconberg Arms and the Coxwold Tearooms are both located in the village.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed in the garden as long as they are well-behaved and kept on a lead at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Guide dogs are allowed in the house.
