The Works of Sterne in ten volumes, 1780

Edward Pery Buckley was of Woolcombe Hall, Dorset, and Minestead Lodge, Hampshire. He was born in 1760, the son of Pery Buckley and Martha the daughter of William Batt. He was a Lt Colonel in the South-West Hampshire militia and married in 1782 Georgina, daughter of John West, Earl de la Warr, lady of the bedchamber to the daughters of George III. For thirty years he was first equerry and later groom of the bedchamber in the royal household. He died in 1840.
