Holograph tithe receipt from Laurence Sterne to Stephen Croft Esq dated Oct 3 1759 and signed Laurence Sterne. The receipt has a list of sums at the top then two notes below it. On the back of the receipt is written ‘1759 L Sterne’ . The receipt has been torn down the middle to the centre line.
